A Digital to Analog Converter, or DAC, takes your digital content and transforms it into analog so that your system can amplify it and play it through your speakers. If you think you already have DACs in your system, you would be correct.

This converter plays music with a nice consistency while giving a lot of stage presence to sound rendering. In addition, it plays all the small gaps dynamically with an almost insolent ease, showing us an energy and freshness on all message types. For the price of this device, it is a beautiful revelation.

Released in February of 2020 YBA’s R100 streaming music centre is a wonderful addition to our Heritage range. It is both an exceptional integrated amplifier with an output of 100 WPC reflecting the engineering and detail you have come to expect from YBA. It incorporates both a dedicated phono input and headphone output. The streaming component of this product is nothing short of exceptional providing the perfect ‘all in one’ product the market has been looking for. All you need to add is loudspeakers.

Yves-Bernard André personally auditions every Signature CD player for many hours during production, guaranteeing that the sonic signature is exactly as he wants. Each product is delivered with a certificate personally signed by him attesting to its performance. His signature also appears inside the machine.

Signature CD is a simple to operate top loading player. Once the CD is in place, moving the door forward approximately 2 centimetres engages the start mechanism. Discs can be played with the door open or closed. All relevant information is displayed on the front panel display and with its two discretely positioned control buttons on the left side of the front panel, it retains the attractive uncluttered lines of the Signature range of products.

From the very beginning it was evident that there was a beauty and timelessness listening to this YBA player. The softness but extreme precision when listening to violins for example gave a level of credibility to the CD430 that is hard to find.
